The jobs that I have gotten from Voice 123 vary. I've been a warm understanding woman for a TV commercial about hysterectomy's: I have done a corporate (Jessica Savage sounding) presentation reel for a 40-million dollar redevelopment project; I've also recorded a conversational approachable ad for Verizon/FIOS.
Outside of Voice1213, I've worked for CBS, ABC, Fox News Channel. I've recorded a radio commercial in Los Angeles for a Hospice Business which I was several nurses, and I have also been a frightened reporter in Steven Kings "The Stand" Movie. I was hired as voice talent on a high energy exercise infomercial too.
Most of what I've learned was on the job training. As a veteran newswoman I know that delivery is crucial. Before graduating from U.S.C., I spent years as a child actress in Chicago doing live TV commercials, modeling & educational films. During college I was the female staff announcer for KCET in Los Angeles. I have more work details on the IMDB website.
I use a Blue snow ball mic and I have also used a studio in Burbank California that has an ISDN line.
Life lessons come in handy when connecting with copy. Being a voice over talent and voice actor, I pull from all life experiences to bring you the mood, feel, empathy and professionalism that you need for your project. As a voice over artist I excel when your project does. Thanks for considering me.
