I have over a dozen years of daily, live radio experience but not a lot of voice over work. Why? I figured I'd wait until I'm older. Well guess what. Happy birthday. I'm ready to voice-act. I started way back as a thespian in high school and we even had a 16 watt radio station I started off broadcasting on. Back then we actually had to take an FCC test to get a 3rd Class Radio Telephone license. That taught me how to change vacuum tubes. Haven't had to change one yet.
Had some theater experience in my short college days. I took all modules at Voice Over Club. Voiced a lot of commercials in my 13 years of local radio on many stations. I did a half dozen on-camera stand-up segments for a local TV station when I worked for them as a stringer. I got the lead in a local theater, Agatha Christie, murder mystery but I thought my British accent was grotty. I took a few voice over seminars and attended a couple workshops at Metro State College and Arapahoe Community College. The Rat Pack crooners are my Karaoke go-to singers.
