My claim to fame, thus far, has been my voice-over in Season Five of the Sopranos, in an episode where Tony and the boys are in Atlantic City, New Jersey! As the fly-by over the skyline takes place, I say "Atlantic City loves its Oldies on Oldies 98.3!". I also had fun recording the English Butler voice on Roger Clemens' home security system. In recent months, I've been hired for the roles of Mickey Mouse, Arnold Schwartzenegger, Goofy, Bugs Bunny, Fred Flintstone and Kermit & Miss Piggy, as well as multiple characters in video games from Marine Drill Sargeant to Disco Guy to 60's Hippie. I've also been Yoda in a Trump Plaza training video, a dog in a dog food commercial, a cockroach in an exterminator spot...you name it, I have probably become it at one time or another! Keep the fun challenges coming!
Informal training included the shower, the morning announcements in high school, and Shop-Rite super market. My formal training was in NYC in 1988 with the iconic Ruth Franklin, one of the best in the biz! (I hope she sees this). She taught me the art of speaking with inflection and feeling rather than just being "Announcer Boy". At broadcasting school, also in '88, Hope Noah taught me helpful voice exercises. It was tough getting the little sweat pants on my tongue! I have been an on-air DJ for 25 years now in Atlantic City, currently doing mornings on Kool 98.3 WTKU. In addition to my voicover work, I also DJ weddings on weekends, besides answering plenty of auditions for Voice123! If it needs voicin', I'm there!
Radio station grade equipment. Radio Systems mixing board, Electro-Voice RE20 microphone, Adobe Audition software.
In addition to lending my voice to a project, I am also available to lend creative and/or conceptual ideas. I have written radio ad copy, as well as promotional campaigns, interview scripts, and short comedy vignettes for the radio show. No one-trick ponies in this barn!
