I started working in Voice Over in 1986 with Val Corporation, a chain of 12 discount department stores. I wrote, voiced and produced all in-store commercials weekly for 5 years. At the Palace Theatre Louisville, I was the on-stage emcee for all concerts; welcoming the crowd, sharing history of the theatre and introducing the opening act. I wrote and voiced an aray of radio commercials for Clear Channel Radio- Louisville WAMZ, WGNX, WHAS-AM, WQMF, WTFX & WZKF 2000-2003. As the In-House Advertising Agency for Coyle Chevrolet and Coyle Dodge I wrote and directed all radio and TV commercials in addition to being an on-screen talent and VO radio talent for the dealerships. I have been on-screen TV Talent for Bloemer's Chili, KAIRE, local law offices and am a host for 2-minute Shopping Showcase features on WNDA-TV in Louisville. In addition to a TV talent for WNDA-TV & WKYI-TV, I am a voice talent for WNDA-AM Kool 1570AM - Great Oldies and KMKS-FM in Bay City, Texas. I also "bring the Bible alive" teaching toddlers at a local church through character voices, acting out stories and singing. 1994 - Bachelor of Arts - Ball State University Major - Technical Theatre Minor - Speech Communications Educated in acting, theatrical sound, set design, scenic painting, costume design, sound design, lighting design, script writing, group presenting, business presentations. Member of the National Forensics League Mother of two boys Radio, TV, corporate sponsorship, group and VIP ticket sales taught me to write, voice and present clear sales presentations to individuals to groups of over 3,000! Mary Kay Beauty Consultant - since 1995 continues to allow me to perfect my presentation and interpersonal communications skills. I record on a Shure SM-7 Mic with a Barringer Control Board and edit on Adobe Audition software.
