About Claire
Crystal clear delivery, that is warm and welcoming. My versatile tone is sincere and quite low, perfect for narrations. I sound professional and authoritive (without sounding patronisng) which is great for training/educational programmes (reason why I work for the Open University over and over again). For commercials I can sound much lighter, sexier and fun. I can also sound very natural, take on a very chatty/gossipy style/tone. For Dickinsons Real Deal the style is very like having a chat with a friend over a cup of tea! (Dickinsons in done with Yorkshire accent)
I do get asked a lot to do a Yorkshire accent which again sounds warm and chatty. I can very much sound like the Mcvitees Home wheat lady ! Or of course the sexy northern bird!

- Experience, training, and equipmentI have over 5 years of voice over experience (I have been with Speak Easy Agency for all of this time). I have been the voice/narrator for ITV's daily show, "Dickinsons Real Deal" for 2 years and have just signed up to do a third year. I have also voiced various online training programmes for the Open University. I have narrated for a few documentaries for television, as well as doing several ads for radio. I have also just been the voice for a web animation project. I played the character of Angie a very large mid thirty something lady who is deperately trying to lose weight! My most fun job to date! Last week I completed a 42000 word guide/learning manual on flying aeroplanes. It involved a lot of technical jargon. I trained as an actress doing many courses and workshope to work on "the voice". I have also done specific classes for voice over training at the Actors Centre, London. Bernard Shaw who has been in the industry for many years and teaches workshops has been extremely valuable to developing my skills. I have a complete home studio I did a BA hons degree in International Business/Marketing before going on to train as an actress
