I worked as a DJ for American Forces Network in Bosnia in 1996, and graduated from the Defense Information School in 1998. There I learned radio and television writing, announcing, editing, and production. I have done radio and television for the Army Reserve ever since. I can record and edit my own work, and even write copy if needed. I have hosted news segments, hosted live radio shows, been interviewed on camera, conducted on-camera interviews, announced for television and radio news and "commercials" (spots). I am also an experienced stage actor.
I am a graduate of the Defense Information School's Basic Broadcaster Course (1998). I have college credits for this program in Voice and Diction, Broadcast copywriting, TV production, Advanced Video Production, and Audio Production. I have 19 college credit hours in theatre including basic and intermediate acting and directing.
Yeti Blue USB microphone. Audacity for recording, editing.
I am creative and like to try new things. I play around with my voice a lot and can create different characters if I need to, but I am also skilled at straight announcing. I'm versatile and multi-faceted. I'm professional and I want to give you the best product possible. I'm a teacher and a Public Affairs Officer in the Army Reserve. I talk for a living, and love it.
