I started my voice-over career in 1989 when I was cast as the voice of Kid on the cartoon "Kid n Play". I was a working actor at that time but my experience on that show led me to pursue voice-overs as a career as well. A year later I was hired as the lead announcer for The Disney Channel (TDC). It was a great job and I was under contract with them for three years.
Throughout the 90's I was mainly a "promo guy" (three season as the lead UPN announcer, two seasons as the voice of ABC's Saturday morning line-up) but I also did numerous commercials and campaigns.
I left the industry in the late 90's to pursue higher education. I am very proud to say that I graduated UCLA in 2008 and I am planning to return to get my Phd.
But I'm still an artist and I miss the performance aspect of VO work.
The tone of my voice is deeper then it was back in the day but my skills are still intact. I hope my experience here on Voices123 will help me develop my new sound and acquaint me with the modern, internet-driven voice-over industry.
