2 years private voice over work and 4 years nationally broadcast on air radio as well as providing digital content (i.e. podcasts, etc)
I've studied acting, radio in general along with broadcast television. I spent time training my own voice and delivery privately and frequently had no shortage of bosses who were eager to do "air-checks", of course that was work related and not necessarily part of 'study'.
I actually use a PC, I know a lot of people prefer Macs, but I favor the classic desktop equipped with Adobe Audition if I need to do multiple tracks. If not I'll just use tried and true Soundforge. I also have a Flexiva Netwave and a Neuman condenser mic, complete with pop-guard. You probably get the idea, I have a solid studio.
I've done some time as a sideline reporter, some local theatre, and am currently on air in radio. I also spent time on set as a PA, but that doesn't really relate to voice over work.
