Brian Bishop

As a young child I grew up in a radio production studio where my Dad worked as a Deejay. What began as a silly childhood game soon became my full time job and the early experience provided me with a ready stable of voice over characters. I began my own radio career in 1984 and worked in radio as a drive time personality in the afternoon and morning until 1990. I then provided voice bumpers for WFQX Radio in Strasburg VA, and voice over talent for a car dealer dealership in Seaford DE. I was actively involved in theatre as well as Toast Masters, and then I began doing voice part time in 2006 for my current employer, and finally full time in 2009. This entailed television commercial voice over, radio commercial voice over, as well as live product representation on radio and Television. I have narrated instructional videos, as well as provided voice mail services and message on hold services. I write and perform custom made songs for special occasions. I currently work for CAP Management where I write and produce and edit all radio and TV for their four companies, Auto World Service & Accessories, The Car Store, DMAC, Atlantic Pawn, and Atlantic Finance. I also work with the Salisbury Children's Theatre as a puppeteer, sing and preform with Rock Band Kings Ransom, and have also performed standup comedy. James Wood High School where I studied music theory and performance in jazz and concert, and marching, as well as winning a spot in the National Forensics League competition in 1984 for humorous interpretation. I also worked in the theatre. I began emceeing local events such as beauty contests while working in local radio. I was the Education Director for The Southern Delaware Toast Masters Chapter from 2006-2007 and during my tenure won the District Competition for a Humorous Speech. I have been playing music publicly since 1988 with a variety of bands and I am well versed on numerous instruments such as guitar, keys, sax, and flute. I currently run the Marketing & Training Department for the Car Store Autogroup where I produce a minimum of 7 TV Commercials, 7 radio ads, daily live radio ads, message on hold for 9 locations monthly. Currently use a digital studio with Interface cards manufactured by Focusrite. DAW of choice is Sonar Producer and wave editing with Adobe Audition CC. My mic is an Slate Digital VSM-1, paired with an Avalon 737 Tube preamp. Video editing and animation Flash Animation Multitrack recording Over 20 years experience in automotive parts and service both aftermarket and with Ford, GM, Chrysler, and Nissan. I have been involved in IT for the past 16 years with network configuration and installation as well as PC repair and configuration and deployment.
