About Allison
Allison Barber has been performing for the past twenty years, and has also been a voice coach for most of that time. Allison has acted for the stage, screen and television, and is an accomplished singer, as well. As Voice Teacher for the Deephaven School of Modeling in Minnesota, Allison was responsible for preparing models for commercial and acting work. If you are looking for a voice that will make your spot come alive, Allison is your best choice!
In addition, Allison does (and teaches) the following dialects: Standard American English
Scots, Irish, several Brits, US including New York Jewish, NY Italian, Southern, Texas / Oklahoma, Minnesota / Wisconsin, Russian, French.

- Experience, training, and equipmentover 20 years Allison studied with the world renowned Paul Mann in New York, Yale University, Europe and the University of Wisconsin. She studied with Voice Coach Carol Mayo Jenkins (“Fame”) for several years. Allison has voiced several narratives for PBS, and voiced countless National and Regional commercials. She has acted with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Theatre on the Bay, and Access Theatre in NYC. Best known for her VO work, she has been on commercials for McDonalds, Nutri-System, FritoLay, and hundreds more. An energetic, positive person, and my smile can be heard.
