About Landis
All my life, people have told me that I should be a voice-actor. I’d always get called on in class to read out loud for everyone and teachers even suggested that they might record me while I read so that they can just play the recording for future classes. Because of this, I always had voice-acting in the back of my mind.
I started as a voice-actor not knowing nearly anything about the field. However, after a couple of years of experience under my belt and learning from the mistakes I made, I find myself with better recording equipment, a sound treated space, and voice-overs of the highest quality. I strive to be better every day and am always trying to learn new tricks and ways to tackle each project that I am tasked with.
There are so many amazing projects out there that haven’t had the chance to be represented by the right voice. It’s a travesty. The reason I do voice-acting is that if I could take a sliver of those projects and bring them to the forefront then I would consider myself to be successful.

- Experience, training, and equipment2 years of experience behind the microphone. Have acted in several different productions being the lead as King Arthur in the Knights of the Round Table and Captain Hook in Peter Pan. Have narrated audiobooks primarily on Librivox and have done some commercial work. I have a sound treated space that I record in with a Harlan Hogan VO-1A microphone and Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2i2o. I use Audacity DAW and RX 7 Audio Editor to help provide high quality audio.
