Well, there's a first time for everything. I'm open to trying various accents, dialects, impersonations or characterizations yet it would be the first time.
My Voice Experience
I have decided to explore opportunities in voice over jobs because I've always been told I have a great voice. I also have a passionate desire to pursue talking for cartoon characters. I began doing radio commercials for my production company Zuri's Parallel Worlds in 2003. In 2007 a former radio personality of the Big DM 101.3 FM Jams requested I perform the jingle for his talk show. I had the privilege to sing as well and write a short poem of my own as a jingle for his morning show. I received a lot of recognition from that performance. Approximately two years thereafter I was requested once again by the same radio station to perform a voice over for Pure Lounge for their Spanish salsa dancing lessons. I had a blast doing both of which were only for exposure. I continuously received various offers and just recently after an in depth conversation with a persuasive friend decided to seriously pursue voice over’s!
