I've been a radio disk jockey for many years and have recorded many commercials at the studio, varying from pet shops to bakeries to used car lots.
B. A. from David Lipscomb University in Nashville;
M. A. from George Peabody College in Nashville;
Post graduate work from Tennessee State University in Nashville.
I've also been an Amateur radio Operator (Ham) for many years. My call is K4RCD.
I've worked at WJJM in Lewisburg, TN; WIZO in Franklin, TN; and WLAC in Nashville, TN. At WLAC I was a newscaster on the AM station and a late-night disk jockey for the easy-listening FM station. I've also had quite a bit of experience as a country music DJ.
I have some excellent mics including an EV RE-27 and a Behringer Mixer; I use Cool Edit and Voive Track into my computer. I send my tracks to WJJM Radio where I also work and the incorporate them into their commercials and main frame computer. (Much of our work is automated.)
I also taught high school history for many years but am now retired.
