My voice has been heard all over Southern California. For two decades my business was the installation and oversight of traffic information stations for LAX, CalTrans and the cities of Beverly Hills, Burbank, Inglewood,San Fernando, Cerritos, just to name a few. for 16 years I was the Voice of LAX on their airport information station. I have been a newscaster for several local stations, serving as News Director for one of them. I have been seen and heard on tv in such things as Hill Street Blues, Seinfeld, The Practice just to name a few. My most recent endeavor was creating and voicing a series of Public Service announcements for the Hollywood-Sunset Free Clinic, which did get quite a bit of air time. One of my proudest achievements is my 30 years of (volunteer) reading text books on tape for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic LA.
One, I'm an actor. My accents on stage have included British (including Shakespeare,) Irish, Scots, Yiddish, Russian. I have taken numerous vocal workshops - Arlen Miller, Terri Apple, Kalmenson & Kalmenson, and others whose names I've forgotten. I have sung in several musicals. My range is baritone. Have had experience as DJ and news reporter for several radio stations - was news director at one of them. Created and voiced public service spots. Voiced a video game. Clothes closet studio with Audacity program on lap top and Audio Technica 2020 mike at home. Have access to two professional studios with a wide assortment of mikes, including RCA 44's, Juniors, excellent editing and track sweetening equipment and music libraries.
Am a good student of science and can cope well with scientific terms in copy. Am good copy writer and proof reader.
