I am new in this field so I haven't booked anything yet. I just completed my first voice over course and private training at PDR studio with Peter Rofe. I have my reel which includes 5 commercial spots. One of the spots is in spanish. They range from serious, funny, sexy and fun. I am looking forward to start working as soon as possible to put my newfound skills to work. I am very confident about my ability and I know i can do a good job. I pride myself in having a different voice.
I trained with Peter Rofe at PDR voice over studio. I also completed over five private lessons with peter. I will be attending my first workshop over at PDR in January 2009.
I have studied acting at the New York School for Film and Television. Acting is a major part of voice overs and helps tremendously. I have also studied privately with acting coach Roy Arias who is well known in the hispanic community. He has done theatre, commercials, and films. Having worked in corporate america in 9to5 positions, answering phones was a daily routine. I developed a good speaking voice and made sure to pronounce every word correctly. Of course, this is very important in the voice over field.
