I have been in radio for about three years. I also have one year of hands on experience while attending broadcasting school. I have experience in the production field, including writing, voicing and fully producing commercials and psa's - selecting and editing music to fit with the selected spot, as well as strategically placing sound effects where needed. I also voiced and produced show promos and liners for an AM talk station and edited shows for replay. I have over two years experience being on the radio. I had my own show on the weekends on a classic rock station, filled in for a mmorning show on an AC station, and filled in as producer for a classic rock morning show. I now have a full time show on a classic hits station doing the lunch shift, as well as performing daily heavy production.
I attended and completed American Broadcasting School in 2003-2004 obtaining hands on experience in writing, voicing and producing radio commercials, recieved on-air experience, as well as vocal coaching amd training. Three more years hands on experience at three different radio companies since the completion of the above.
I have access to a studio using an Audioarts Engineering R55E console sound board, using the Cool Edit Pro program for recording and editing.
Besides radio and production skills and training, I am also experienced as a newspaper reporter. This gives me a different perspective on voice over work, a more serious, professional outlook from behind the scenes. This esperience also let me sharpen and heighten my abilities as a writer.
