Since my first big role as a Snowflake at age 5, I've been involved in creative pursuits of all kinds. I teach on-camera Acting to children, I've been an Assistant Director for feature films, I've traveled internationally to over 20 countries, & I have the physical skills of a true circus freak. BA from the Visual & Performing Arts School at Syracuse University Masters in Theatre, University of CA Dialects studied with Dialect Coach from Yale...Doug Honoroff, as well as Theatre Professor from HSU...Bernadette Cheyne (studying IPA). I've also been in Commercial workshops with Susan McCollum & at Elaine Clark's VoiceOne in SF. Some of my favorite in-studio work has been with Deborah Ben-Eliezer. Adobe Audition, Zoom R8 Audio Processor, MXL 990 Mic (& ProTools in the past) I have also been a TA for University Dialect classes focusing on the International Phonetic Alphabet. Using IPA really helps my voice to identify what I'm hearing in an accent...& how to be consistent with vowel substitutions & other sounds unique to each dialect. Plus, it's fun.
