Even before high school I was told I had a voice for radio, and even that I should be on stage (as a stand-up). My public speaking was mostly in a teaching setting, whether in the service as a Corpsman, or as a nurse teaching class. While in L.A., I took formal traning with Jason Jeffries at station KRLA, and also with Lori Tritel at Buzzy's Recording Studio in Hollywood. I read for 'Reading for the Blind and Dyslexic' for several months. I have now moved back to Cheyenne and would like to put my voice to work.

I have an ElectroVoice mic, and Sennheiser headphones, as well as a Behringer mixing board patched into my PC. I use Audacity Digital Audio Editor, saving my work as .wav or .mp3 files to e-mail or burn to disc.
Raised in Cheyenne, WY, T. Patrick Sargent graduated high school, and then joined the Navy. He served three years with the Marine Corps as a Hospital Corpsman until his honorable discharge. Patrick pursued his interest in healthcare, graduating with two associates’ degrees and a license as a Registered Nurse. During his nursing tenure, Patrick preferred the pace and variety of the Emergency Department, where he spent a majority of his career.
One aspect of E.D. nursing was becoming a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse, (MICN), or ‘Radio Nurse’ who directs paramedics in the field in the care of patients. Patrick has also worked with different medical and supply companies, giving professional instruction as to the use of their products to medical and nursing staff. No stranger to a teaching environment, Patrick’s technical expertise serves him well in front of the microphone, and he volunteered weekly to read for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, (RFB&D).
Also, a graduate with honors of a Le Cordon Bleu program for Hotel & Restaurant Management, Patrick owned and operated a catering business for over 18 months, and was an assistant manager of the resort restaurant Nenana View Bar & Grill in Denali, Alaska for the 2008 season.
Having spent years in the field of science, medicine, and hospitality, Patrick brings a distinct quality and authoritative style to his narration, so has chosen to apply his abilities, dedication, and experience to the dynamic field of voice imaging.
