Since majoring in Theater Arts in college, I have done over fifty plays and have since done over thirty industrial videos for my former employer, Lutheran Brotherhood, in which I portrayed many different characters as well as straight announcer/narrator/MC roles. I have been a regular weekly reader of morning newspapers on Radio Talking Book, a service for blind listeners broadcast by satellite.
I graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Theatre Arts. Since then I have performed in live theatre as well as video productions. I created and managed the Audio-Visual Department at Lutheran Brotherhood, a life insurance company based in Minneapolis (Now Thrivent Financial) for over 20 years until I retired in January of 2001.
My forte is cold reading. I do not require a lot of rehearsal to get the correct message across. I can do drama and comedy with equal aplomb. Although I can competently handle straight announcing and narration, my skills are more directed to adding dramatic or comedic impact to the script.
