1500 gigs in the last 10 years fronting my own band as lead singer and guitarist.
I have a Mac G5 running Logic Pro, through an outboard Mackie 24/8/2 desk. I record all aspects of music "at home": Live drums(Yamaha Studio kit) guitars; keys and vocals.
My "drum sound" was praised by former Rolling Stones producer Chris Kimsey, and Former Rolling Stone Bill Wyman described my album "Bleggae" as "Excellent. Best I've heard for some time". All recorded in my "garage".
For vocals, sung or spoken, I use an AKG 414, or a chinese valve mic(far cheaper than a Neumann, but to my ears better than the AKG)
I earn my money as a performer, fronting my band
