My first voice over job consisted of a "high-pitch" giggle for a national spot, for the Luxor Hotel & Casino here in Las Vegas. I told my voice coach that I was disappointed that they didn't use more of my audition, and she said, (bluntly), "I don't care if you burped or farted, they paid you, didn't they?" Lesson learned.
I started taking voice-over classes in 2002, and since then I have done work for Pulte Homes, and several Detroit Casinos, local bank commericials and internet spots.
For the last five years, I've trained with one of the best voice over coaches in the industry, named Alice Whitfield. (Author of "Take it from the Top")
I have also been a Television Anchor/Reporter for 16 years. I've lived in 9 states, including; Branson, Missouri and Mobile, Alabama.
You wouldn't believe the types of people I've met. Some of the craziest characters I've interviewed, include; prisoners, politicians, entertainers, cab drivers and local eye-witnesses are the best. I pull a lot of dialects from these experiences.
I've also done a lot of "live" remotes for both radio and television.
I have an M-Audio interface, mic, and Cool Edit Pro softare on my home computer. I can record audio from my home and send via mp3 files through email.
