Hi! I was a broadcaster in college and for several years after. Now I enjoy doing voice-overs from my home studio. My favorite mic here is the AT4040; but I do have a few that I switch between depending on the content requirements. A total geek, I enjoy combining digital audio production with analog outboard gear for a nice hybrid of "yesterday and today". I have a strong passion for great customer service and am happy to work with you to ensure your project sounds it's best!
My experience in radio (WNKI, WPGI, WDKC, WAVT, WNTE, WAZL/WNAK) and television (WETM, Mansfield University Campus TV) production has provided many opportunities for commercial voice-overs as well as live announcing. While at WETM, I also produced several vignettes for the local Children's Miracle Network fund drives.
I have also been working free-lance from my home studio and been contracted for work across the country for broadcast stations as well as internet radio and podcasts. I have also done work for local non-profit organizations such as an informational DVD supporting a group of special individuals.
My formal training includes a Bachelor of Science from Mansfield University of PA in Mass Communication with an emphasis on Broadcasting. The degree program also included coursework in Public Relations, Journalism and Persuasion. I have been trained in voice and articulation through the degree program.
While at Mansfield, I originally attended as a Biology Education major. During that time, I joined the campus radio station and became News Director. In this role, I was responsible for scheduling students for the reading of news live on-air as well as producing and voicing newscasts personally. Often, the audio production students would refer to me for tutoring in editing techniques and voice coaching. I eventually became a Mass Communication major and put the skills I obtained to use. Shortly after, I was employed at an area radio station (WPGI) which launched my professional career while still attending college.
I grew up in a very musical family and school district and participated in high school chorus and band as a percussionist. I later marched with the Mansfield University band for my freshman year. Today I apply my understanding of music when creating unique sounders for stations as well as an occasional jingle. I enjoy playing my drum kit as often as possible.

Upon relocating to a different town in Pennsylvania, I was employed for a stint at Radio Shack. Prior to that I was a newscast director at WETM. The transition was very beneficial to my understanding of the customer service world. The experience was humbling to say the least. Now, I have the skills necessary to ask the right questions with tact, and, problem-solving skills to produce creative solutions.
