I am brand new to Voice 123 and hope its a win,win for all! I have done hundreds of radio commercial over 25 years and have enjoyed a wonderful VO career for many years.
I have done ADR that I am very proud of on some great Feature Films. Wall-E, Toy Story 3, Monsters Inc, Cars, Surfs Up, Horton Hears a Who, etc.
In animation I have done many guest parts on cartoon shows. Also I was a series regular on the Droopy Dog show back in the 80's at Hanna Barbera.
I want to do more video games. I did many parts on Everquest 2. But need to expand in that area.
I trained as an actress at The Goodman Theater in Chicago for 2 years. After moving to L.A. I studies with many different acting coaches such as Milton Katselas and Bob McAndrew for scene study, Gary Austin and Second City for Improv. I have done lots of film and television and stage work as an actress. I feel that acting is very important in VO work.
I have taken VO classes with Ginnie McSwain, Pat Fraley, Sue Blu, Andrea Romano, Ned Lott, etc.
I work with Cool Edit Pro at home and have a very high quality mike. I have compared the sound of my auditions at home with the sound of auditions at recording studios and I am amazed at how mine sounds just as good. I would not feel right doing a job from my home. I live near and have great relationships with many studios in LA. I would go to one of them for an actual job.
I think it would be important to look me up on IMDB Pro to see how much film and television work I have done in addition to VO Work. Some of my vo work is also listed on IMDB but I think you always need to come back to good acting.
