I didn't go looking for voicework, it found me! I had been a TV news anchor when I started getting calls to do voice overs for commercials and documentary narrations. Then a radio station called and the GM said I love your voice! I started doing on-air shifts and voice tracking. Then more commercials. Now I co-host the nationally syndicated radio show CCM Radio Magazine. I've done on-hold messages. I love doing dialogue for movies or radio shows. It reminds me of the days when there was only radio and someone's voice took your imagination on a journey. I want to take you on a journey, a journey to prosperity!
I received a B.A. in Radio/TV/Management from the University of Louisiana Monroe. I started doing part time radio(while a full time TV newscaster) in Baton Rouge. Training with Bob Bishop and Kenny Hazellet. After moving to Nashville I worked with some of the biggest radio stations in Music City and learned the ropes of doing voice over. I subscribe to AAA Voicecasting of New York for constant updates on how to improve my game!
I have a studio in my home. I have a four channel Alesis mixer with an audio-technician AT2020 mic. I use Sound Forge editing software and have my own ftp site for easy uploading and delivering of my voice work. tammiarender.com
What I bring to the table is the full monty! I can write, I can voice, I can do on-camera, and most importantly I can connect to you and your listener. Being a reporter for many years, I learned to ask questions and listen. This is crucial in learning what you want, you expect, and the goals you're wanting to achieve. When I know that, I go to work and deliver that to you. It's that simple. If I make you happy and your customers happy, then we're all happy! Let's do something special and memorable. Life's too short to be mediocre!
