I've worked at jobs ranging from receptionist to executive secretary over the years. In many places I've worked, I've been asked to do the telephone recordings because everybody enjoys my voice. I've never been paid for this service. I believe, from hearing so many compliments over the years that I could do this type of work quite naturally. I've used phone dating services in the past (don't go there) and although it's obvious all they get for now, is your voice, I've only received compliments about the warm texture of my voice. I've done a few community plays and really enjoyed them. I believe a phone call to my residence would be the best way for you to get an instant idea of my voice. This sounds silly but I've been quite successful in Karaoke. I choose my songs well and know what I'm able to pull off. People often requested certain songs from me and became quite emotional through my delivery. I have an MP3 voice sample for your perusal. It's a shot in the dark, let's see who gets lucky!
I have a little voice training from a singing school, although it goes back some 15 years. Some of the greeting voice mails I have done were coached. I am "TRULY" bilingual (Canadian French and English). I was also trained to do telephone surveys for Statistics Canada. Some of these surveys lasted over 90 minutes, and getting the people to complete the survey came easily to me, unlike some of my co-workers. I have years of customer service experience. I was raised French Canadian and learned English as a child. I have no accent in either language. My French is what is known as "International French". I can easily put on the Quebecois dialect if necessary. My English is North American, more specifically Canadian. Just call and let's talk.
Other than ordinary skills, I am a toolgirl. I am a certified Cabinet Maker as well as a Building Maintenance Generalist. The latter means I've done things like carpentry, electrical, plumbing and drywall, to name a few. I've worked in renovations. A large part of my work life consisted in administrative skills including customer service. I've also worked for Statistics Canada doing phone surveys.
