I have been a bingo caller in Blackpool and done the Donkey Derby attractions along the prom there, not my best work, but the customers loved it. Every time I laughed on mic. I had the customers in fits of laughter.
When I was an entertainer, I sang lots of songs in Spanish and English for the Eurovision show that we were running. I worked in the Southdowns Holiday Park.
In musical reviews I played the Phantom of The Opera and Michael Ball in our run of the songs from the musicals.
When I was a drag queen, I used characters called Brenda from Birkenhead, a Scouse lady of ill repute who is pregnant and chainsmokes dope. So there was a stoned Liverpudlian accent.
I also used Miss Anna Rexia, the fat, out of breath diva who is convinced she is anorexic. She has a husky, posh accent filled with wheezing and the occasional burp. She sings like a grandmother who has lost her hearing aid and really can't make the notes(a hard one for me to do).
I sing many songs and don't mean to, but often find that I am impersonating the singer, either in a comic way or seriously.
I have never done a voice over yet, but I think I was born for this industry.
I have never had any formal training.
