I was employed part-time in high school at KTBS-TV Channel 3 in Shreveport, Louisiana as a camera operator. In 1977 I was employed at KEEL-710 AM radio in Shreveport, Louisiana as a DJ. I worked the graveyard shift. I have performed in supporting roles in local theater in the East Texas and North Louisiana region. I was the lead singer for a regional rock-and-roll band (Jellyroll) in the late 1970s and in that role we played numerous college and bar gigs in the East Texas and North Louisiana region. I was the Publicity Director for the 10th International Space Development Conference, SPACEDAY, Aerospace Day and the One Giant Leap exhibit in San Antonio, Texas in the 1990s. In my Publicity Director role I made numerous appearances on local radio and TV promoting these events. I also promoted my own business (SBT Designs) on radio and TV for fifteen years.
