WYNF Tampa - Radio spots for local DJ. WCIMX aka 89X in Windsor/Detroit - Entered a contest and won a scholarship by beating out several other contestants with voiceovers for a chance to attend the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield, Michigan. Completed courses there with high honors and references to California for work. However, trip was not timely due to Strike in California and studio work was in Canada instead in 1999. 89X - Radio spots for local DJ as side-kick. Old Lady voice "Helen, 89X's Oldest Living Listener". Played a caller who would give a segway for song titles - I would call and say a wrong song title, providing the DJ an opportunity to correctly announce the song's proper title for marketing purposes. 89X - Commercials for Windsor Music Cafe and other on-air filler. WRIF Detroit with Ken Calvert and Alice Cooper, and Waylon Jennings on Nashville radio - "Phoney Phone Calls" (with me calling and speaking to celebrities using "Helen Bedd" voice). They were totally fooled that I was an actual old lady for these Ad-Lib recordings. Self-taught (for the most part) in voice-overs. I am also a musician with special abilities in 12-String Acoustic Guitar, which has provided me with years of recording and studio experience in audio and video.
