Well, my dream was to be a radio disc-jockey. So at age 34, I went back to college...one of my audio projects was a commercial spot. Everyone in my class was laughing at each other's attempt...but when it was my turn, the class listened & when silent. The professor couldn't believe it! A mother of one of my classmates worked at a local radio station. He told her about my voice, she told the program director, and two weeks later, I was on the air. DJ'd at the Hard Rock station WXRX in Rockford, IL for about a year...then moved down the hall to the sister station, B103 Light Rock. Did some commercial production, as well. Left the station for family obligations, but want to get more into voice-overs.
