My professional experience includes:
June 2009
Brickster English Course
Sardinia
The main vocal recording for a successful website built as an intelligent and efficient English language course for native Italian speakers. This included recording many phrases which were required to be presented in a very clear but expressive and natural manner, as these were the main source of learning exercises throughout the course.
Psychology BSc from the University of the West of England
Key modules include Language and Mind, Education, Consciousness, Cognitive Psycology and Learning Disabilities.
4 A Levels from Varndean Sixth Form College including English Literature, Psychology, Philosophy and Art
10 GCSEs all grade A and B including English, French, Maths and Science
In my spare time I also work as a music journalist for the website newbeats4u. This not only requires me to write articles, but also to conduct interviews with various local bands in the Brighton area.
I also have a background and performing arts including classical voice coaching, projecting and expression.
I have easy access and various contacts to recording studios in the Brighton area.
I am naturally very well spoken and have an extensive background and hobbies relating to acting and expression. I have also sang all my life in various different successful choirs and am classically trained so I have good knowledge of projection, articulation, stress and pronounciation.
Although I am fairly new to voice acting as a career, all my previous jobs have centred very much on communication such as working in a learning disability setting and fostering communication with children with profound and multiple learning difficulties. Prior to that working in a very loud and busy bar, clear communcation and projecting my voice was vital, as you can imagine!
