In the past I have recorded voice overs for short films and have made a few radio appearances. I am just beginning my work in the voice over industry, but am no stranger to voice characterizations. I am an improviser and comedian by trade and portraying a variety of characters through voice is essential to excellent scene work.
In highschool, I helped run a television station, "LTV News" and radio startion, "CRLK".
On "LTV News" we had daily broadcasts of the news for students. With this news station I was able to get my first introduction to voice over work, recording and numerous other aspects of production.
From then, I went on to study improvisation with the Second City, The Impatient Theatre Company and the Bad Dog Theatre Company. I also spent time learning character with the Montreal-based improv troupe On The Spot! Impro.
Additionally, I have been working full-time, professionally in television broadcast production.
More recently, I have gone on to voice study, specifically pretaining to singing, with the Royal Conservetory of Music.
I currently own a SONY FV420, Dynamic Vocal Microphone.
To edit, I primarily use GarageBand on Mac. In addition to this, I also have a vast collection of royalty-free music and sound f/x in my sound library.
I am also an improviser, writer and work in production.
I find that the collective of experiences have added greatly in the diversity and quality in the characters and voices that I now perform.
