In high school, my best friend's father owned a radio station and invited me to cohost a Sunday night show. My voice and personality came out so well on the tape he ended up asking me to come back for several commercials. Since then, I have gone to college and become an English teacher. Now, I spend countless hours reading books aloud to my classes and participating in and directing dramatic productions. This has reignited my passion for the spoken word and I am eager to explore using my gifts in this area.
Though I have had limited professional experience in the voiceover field apart from the commercials I recorded as a teenager, I have since been in multiple dramatic productions throughout college and have enjoyed producing podcasts with friends.
As a beginner, I have very limited equipment apart from my laptop microphone and my knowledge of simple editing programs such as Audacity, but I am eager and willing to learn.
I sang for several years in a choir, ranging from tenor, to alto, and even soprano. If there is a character who needs to sing, I would be more than happy to lend my talents there as well.
