Biography
Scott Fortney began producing "audio pictures" when he was just 7-years old, beginning with impersonations of TV characters. At the time, he never dreamed of doing it for a living; it was just a great way to make friends laugh.
Scott's vast experience includes voice-overs for television, radio, websites, telephone systems, amusement parks, video games and more. Scott provided the voice of the cartoon otter, the mascot for Pennsylvania's "Save the Chesapeake" campaign. As a voice actor, he has won several awards for his production work, including Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters awards.
Whether announcing, acting, or playing the part of a spokesman, Scott Fortney always performs with one thought in mind: "If I wouldn't sign my name to it, I haven't done my best."
Scott Fortney honed his voice skills from the time he was a little boy. By the time he was 16, he was already a co-host on a local radio show where he learned the art of voice acting from a veteran; and just a year later, he got his first full-time job as a radio personality and commercial voice-over artist.
Through the years, Scott continued to teach himself the art of voice-overs and audio production; he began exploring digital audio in the early-90s when most were still using tape and editing blocks.
Today, Scott Fortney is called on daily to use his many talents all over the world, in radio and TV commercials, on websites, in amusement parks, video games and much more.
