I've worked in many call centers over the years. Many of these calls are played back to me and I love modifying my voice to give my customer a pleasant experience. I have been mistaken for a recording that was part of what ever hold music was interrupted. For fun, when they realized I was a human on the phone, I'd add,"I get that a lot, I mean, they only upgraded me to human yesterday.". We'd have a good laugh and move on.
