Though she works in a professional atmosphere selling glasses and contacts to custmers, Sarah may be polite, kind, and a little shy on the outside, but inside, she never quite grew out of her youth. When Toys R Us sung "I'm a big kid now" she took the motto to heart. As a child, she had a flare for the dramatic, channeling those multiple personalities into imaginative stories with her barbies. She loves Disney villains!
As she grew older, Sarah took her imagination to the stage and performed in theatrical productions. In spite of adulthood, Sarah still wants to play, still wants to imagine, and wants to use her voice to inspire someone else's dream and imagination.
She likes playing skeptical Mr. Bill as Mr. Hand calmly explains how Sluggo is NOT going to be mean to him, while Spot excitedly ruffs out small comments. She likes playing the young girl next door who teases her neighbor boyfriend who she has a love/hate relationship with. She likes playing the conflicted teenager, always at odds with her hormones and emotions, or is having a hard time with life. She likes holding professional conversations with adults and explaining the mechanics of how something works or operates in a way that saves them from mindless boredom. When Sarah is happy and excited, upset or irritated, loving and kind, it shows in her voice.
Sarah has taken theatre classes and performed in community theatre plays, some of which include: Once on this Island, Bye Bye Birdie, School House Rock, The Crucible, Crimes of the Heart. A local community class engaged her interest in voice over work, where she joined with Such A Voice, training with acclaimed voice over artist and producer, Ben Marney. She is now ready to add her talents behind the scenes.
