About Sarah
I grew up knowing I had a unique voice because everyone would point it out. Because of this, I was interested in cartoon voices at a very young age. I would sing songs in silly voices and focus on voices in commercials.
As I got older, I read books about and researched the industry. I was discouraged in my teens, after reading about how competitive the industry is and how much work entailed being your own business. As I got older it still remained a passion. I began to seek info again as social media became more prominent and demos could be sent via email and links instead of snail mailing. I got in touch with Donovan Weyland at the Chicago Recording Company to work on a demo. He updated me on the industry, trained me on studio etiquette, equipment and auditons, and produced my first commercial and narration demos. I've been submitting auditions and booking jobs ever since!
