I did a voiceover for a TV segment in Chicago for PlayNow in 2006. I recently did a young female voice for a dark animation project at Santa Monica City College.
I have a BA in Communications from Illinois State University. However, prior to that I was always involved in the arts in some way shape or form. I started dancing and performing in various recitals and talent shows since the age of 5. From middle school through college, I took many speech and drama classes, a few acting classes and some TV production classes. I have spent a lot of time in recording studios with producers, singers and engineers and have learned a lot through their experiences. I also took a Susan Blu Voice Over Workshop Class, which was very educational and helped me learn more about my voice and what I can do with it.
I have fairly easy access to a studio through a friend. He has Pro Tools HD, Mic Pre's, Logic and Studio Mic. He is a professional engineer and has quality equipment.
I am also a licensed real estate agent. I work well with others and am used to meeting new people and having new experiences as well as trying to sell myself and a product. I have a positive attitude and take direction well. I enjoy taking dance classes and doing voiceovers because it is a creative outlet that I don't get the opportunity to have in a "regular" job.
