Some say that "actions speak louder than words," but I believe words carry equal power to inform and impact change. Because of my background in spokes-modeling and documentary film-making, my voice can make any topic sound appealing, communicating even more through careful tonalities and rhythms, in order to change lives.
Early in my career, I knew I wanted to use my voice to create a feeling of peace for others, so playing a Mental Wellness Expert for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago was a perfect fit. John says of my reading for their HIV Education webpage, "Everybody loves your voice in this role - you’re a great anti-depressant (and no prescription required!)." I was honored to share my ten years of experience as a professional model and spokes-model with underprivileged girls in inner-city Chicago through motivational speaking sessions at the Metro Achievement Center in 2008. Luxury clothier, Morris & Sons, featured my voice on their website to entice potential clients. Studying Broadcast Journalism and Documentary Film Production at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film & Media Arts in California further involved me in activist filmmaking and voiceover recording. I recorded a Public Service Announcement for the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force, and later traveled to Cameroon, Africa to produce and film a documentary about the trafficking epidemic, bringing voices back to air on several regional PBS affiliates. Also during this time, my voice has narrated several documentaries, ranging from emotional and contemplative to playful and quirky. One specific documentary, entitled Mother Journey, has effectively and notedly influenced growth in mother-daughter relationships.
Because of my ability and desire to connect with people, my voice and interpersonal skills have increased company yields: I was an official spokes-model for Grey Goose Vodka, I represented Wilpak and Medco in professional capacities to effectively establish new clients and assist existing customers; both Surlean Foods in Texas and Pearl River Pastry in New York offered me full-time positions because my voice so perfectly communicated their company messages. My voice launched Nestle Waters' new 2009 products, and KHS Technologies used my voice to promote their technologies and services. I enjoy engaging viewers and listeners in areas that aren't normally engaging, like drip irrigation. Netafim USA, an international irrigation company, appreciates the energy my voiceover currently brings to their online instructional videos.
