Currently, I work part-time at Clear Channel Communications in Milwaukee as a board operator. Before that I worked at a hardware store as a Sales Associate for 5 years. I'm new to the voice-over scene, but I'm very passionate and enthusiastic when it comes to radio and recording projects of all kinds.
I received my training for voice-overs and announcing from the Columbia School of Broadcasting in Washington D.C. I learned about commerical delivery, newscasting, play-by-play sportscasting, and voice-overs. I earned excellent grades on all my projects, and here's a sample of comments that my instructors had after reviewing my work...
"you have a professional gait." - Jeff Rollins
"good timing, great voice, you're announcing not reading, very talented!" - Rachel Harris
"smooth delivery...very good expression and stylization abilities...excellent voice quality...professional sounding delivery." - Warren Carmichael
"you've got it going on!" - John Meagley
Having spent over 5 years in retail, I have excellent people skills. I currently work in radio, so I have experience using audio software and hardware. Cool Edit Pro, VoxPro, NexGen, etc.
