About Robert
I'm an experienced broadcast journalist and radio DJ who also has acting experience on stage and on TV.
I have a classic accentless "BBC" voice with a wide dynamic range, equally at home with dry impartial delivery to bouncy advertising needs, and notably impeccable diction, as I used to teach English.
My voice is distinctive, yet flexible. It can be crisp or warm or completely out to lunch, depending on the client's needs.

- Additional vocal abilitiesI am happy to try anything, but I'm not sure accents or impersonations are my strongest suit. However, characterisations I can manage thanks to my dramatic experience.
- Experience, training, and equipmentMy clients include a long list of public and private French and Swiss companies of varying sizes, some international names, some not. I am also a part of the Prime Voices roster of artists. I have a degree in English (2.2) from Sussex University. I have discovered that I am a very fast worker compared to my competition, normally requiring just one or two takes to nail any text, which I can also sight read faultlessly without any prior viewing. This means I can normally complete a task in hours that others need a whole day to do.
