My career extends over 30 years of doing voiceovers. From the early '70's, I have owned large recording studios and now have consolidated into a small project studio and I provide a web site for downloads . As an voice talent and engineer, I have been the voice actor on over 50 audio books and have recorded and edited over 150. All can be found on Amazon under Dick Wilkinson. Over the years I have done thousands of commercials and hundreds of industrial presentations. Have also been chief announcer a three network television stations. Currently, my voice can be heard on two Jim Beam presentations and I do regular work on two Outdoor Channel programs. I have done many movie trailers for independent film makers.
While attending college in the early 1960's and receiving a degree in communications, I was offered a job in radio as a disc jockey and later became a station manager. Audio production and being a voiceover talent was of special interest and I have worked in this field for over 30 years, owning large and small recording studios to this day.
My equipment consists of a Behringer DDX32/16 automated, digital console(with effects), Yamaha Nearfield speakers, Degidesign ProTools LE, Neumann and AKG microphones, Tascam DA-30 MKII DAT machine, Sony Mini Disk, Techhnics CD player, Disc Clone CD duplicator and Piomeer cassette player and duplicator.
For 10 years, one of my sidelines was location audio recording for motions pictures and industrial films. Also I have been a voiceover coach for many students over the past 20 years. My studio also produces jingles.
