I became a professional radio personality over 25, years ago. I've won an " Addy Award" from the Smith Advertising agency, while I was Production manager for the Beasley, Broadcast Group, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. My vocal talent is a skill best described as a gift on loan from God! I have worked extensively in the two Carolina's, Born in the Palmetto, State raised in the greatest city in the world New York,City,and Boston, Ma! I like saying that! I have voice'd radio,television,commercials, promo's jingles,narration for Apex Broadcasting,Charleston,SC. the W E D O Gospel Radio Network, North Carolina. I Starred in a Black Television Soap Drama, called " Love Always Charleston", viewed on Time Warner Cable, in Charleston, Sc. and Atlanta, Ga. After years of being behind the broadcast microphone, i decided it was time to step up to the world of voice over acting. Since 2004 I've been freelancing, and currently negotiating with Coastal Corrugated Inc, in Charleston, Sc. to do a corporate voice over, which will link to video when completed. My first 5 years in broadcast radio I worked as reporter, and covered story's National Public Radio, the Associated Press, and my local affiliate W V S P FM 90.9, Warrenton, North Carolina. I continue building my knowledge by staying active in various projects that educate and challenge me to learn. I speak at various forums on the growing diversity of the media industry, and the quickening of technology in our voice over world. I use three microphones M-audio Luna condenser,the MCA-SP2 condenser and the electro voice RE20. My sound card is external, it's the M-Audio Mobile Pre. I use a 6 channel mixer by Behringer, the XENYX-802, My power Amp, is by Gemini, the fan cooled P-601. My computer is by DEll, the OPTIPLEX 745 with dual core processor, my OS is Windows 7 with a wireless mouse by Logitech. I use two recording soft wear programs Pro Tools and Adobe Audition 3.0 for sound reproduction.I use a pair of K R K Rokit 8, studio monitors, my headphones are by Sennheiser, HMD 280-13, "can you dig it!" I have a music and sound effect library, ready to work! My 25 years of working in the professional broadcast industry has given me a lot of experience, and with skill, and talent on loan from God, I like to have fun and work with people who are upbeat and positive about the service or product they offer consumers...so you know the deal, if your looking for the right voice to voice your business lets talk.
