I'd say I'm still an amateur when it comes to voice overs but my experience comes mostly from independent films done with friends and from voice over sessions at a studio in North Hollywood which included reading voice commands for new vehicles. I also rap and sing so standing in front of a microphone is something I'm comfortable with.
I have a Sound Engineering diploma from the Los Angeles Recording School in which we learned skills such as Automated Dialogue Replacement, Instrument, Sound, and Voice Recording, Editing, Mixing, Music Production, Post Production, Microphone Theory and Techniques, Pro Tools Training and Certification.
I have my own recording equipment including a MacBook Pro, Pro Tools LE with an Mbox 2 Pro interface, a condenser and a dynamic microphones. Looking to acquiring a DV Toolkit in the near future.
After graduating from the recording school I embarked on a series of projects including post production and voice over for films and music videos with friends, production and recording of an album with my band, and many hip hop songs with different artists.
