Priscilla Ahn

Valley girl, korean accent, anime characters like Tifa and Aeris from Final Fantasy VII, Eponine from Les Miserables, Kim from Miss Saigon, Jasmine from Aladdin, mimicry of British and American deep south accents, Japanese-style cutesy voice, silly and ditzy, sophistcated and sultry, cynical and wry, contemplative yet also a fighter like Street Fighter female characters. Girl next door to something more ethereal.

I grew up lugging my radio into the bathroom as I took showers, musicals and japanese/korean pop songs being my music of choice. I've particpated in a number of very small plays and musicals but never thought to pursue them. I grew up playing Nintendo games and watching animation and just way too many cartoons. My interests scaled from action cartoons such as GI Joe and Transformers to Jem. I loved them all. I would find myself mimicking the characters and constantly singing along. When I lived in Korea I frequented karaokes so my singing is not too bad. People tend to be very impressed with my singing. I am currently working in a law firm, law being my focus and major in college. However I would love to try the interest I have always placed in the back burner. I would love to try voice acting and am confident that I will do an excellent job. I have a law major in Korea, but I grew up in Southern California. When I meet people they seem to believe that I am an art major and never a law major. I like to sketch, paint and draw as a form of stress relief. I frequent plays and musicals yet I cannnot seem to be able to stomach operas. I know how to stick with a job. I've been working in a law firm for 5 years. I tend to work until the project is done, regardless of how much time it takes. I give the projects 100% effort and see it to completion. I also find ways to enjoy every moment of it!
