This ability was in me from childhood. I would regularly play pretend using a spoon, etc. as a microphone. I grew up with the "old school" TV and radio announcers like Don Wilson, Ralph Paul, Don Russell, George Fenneman and Don Pardo. I refer to William B. Williams as my mentor. In 1974, I took the course in radio broadcasting at Connecticut School of Broadcasting. Immediately following, I took a part-time job at the local radio station where I was an air personality for over 12 years. As for sound production, I came from analogue (cart machines and tape cutting) to digital (I am an advanced operator of Sound Forge editing software). Over the years I have produced many commercials and PSA's... from concept to final tape.

Editing was done by physically cutting tape.
I made the transition to the Digital Audio Workstation beginning in 1994.
My photography career as well as my retail (storekeeper) career have vastly broadened my understandings and my capabilities. I know a great deal about photography, art and music. I am also very knowledgeable in fine wines, beers and spirits. Also, I have learned much about cooking, nutrition, vitamins & supplements, mainstream medicine and alternative medicine. This broad range of interests and knowledge enables me to speak with a sense of authority and confidence that the listener discerns.
