Worked on a 'hospital' radio in the 80's but don't let that put you off as it allowed me to work some local radio stations for a while - mainly playing indie music to, one would guess from the leters I got, the disturbed youth of the day and some old punks....from there I did a few radio ads of which almost all started with the line ''Debt problems geting you down?..don't let them!!'' Call Mr Shark etc... Narrating John Wyndham's The Day Of The Triffids as part of an Educational tour stands as the most enjoyable time spent in (and out) of a studio - and certainly the most satisfying in terms of audience reaction...... Spent 2 years at Liverpool college of drama before going to London's Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art - at that time they had the best voice teachers in the UK....in truth though you probably learn more when you've left, mainly how producers and directors don't want to here received pronunciation anymore..... I've been to a lot of different places in the world and probably been through at least 100 jobs; a student of life one might say, or misdirected, either way I'm still alive.
