Copywriting, production and voice talent as Production Director and afternoon drive AT for WJBR-FM, the #1 ranked (Arbitron, Fall 2009) AC radio station in market #76 (Wilmington, DE), we are overlaid by market #6 (Philadelphia, PA) - so we have to sound good as them!
I've voiced every kind of safety, training and product rollout video. I've voiced children's books as the narrator and as various characters. Voiced yoga videos, local cable TV ads and promos, and thousands of radio spots of every description from "sexy smoothie" to "crazed shouter". College and community acting experience actually brings new life to those cliche-ridden copy (not yours, of course) that begin with "Honey, I'm home!" I can do the "expected" take, and I can find the new spin.
Whether I write for my own voice or for directing others, I am adept at communicating well within 30- and 60-second time constraints, but love settling in, slowing down and breathing life into real organic Storytelling. When you give me time, you can hear it in my voice: "What a treat, the luxury of the long form."
