My son, Pierre, did commercials from ages 4 to 15. He was under Mollo Management, Long Island, NY (McCauli Culkin, Webster, etc.). He also worked with many agents and talent scouts over the years! Sometimes, there would be open calls, and WALLAH ... I would land a gig (live commercials)! My first commercial was in 1996 when I played the mom in a Health First insurance company Commercial.
I began recording my voice in 2003 after a Breast Cancer Diagnosis! While thinking about the possibility of death, I wanted to leave something of sentiment to my children; I wrote and published Memoirs In Pink: A Breast Cancer Journey (Poetry Book). William Morales (deceased) asked me to put the poems to music; the rest is history!
Today, I have a catalog of original music that is a mile long, and my voice, some say, is my greatest asset (I am beginning to agree)! I love to record ... I am undoubtedly a studio "rat!"
In 2004, after appearing as a guest on a show called "A Fresh Perspective," I was offered the host spot before I left the studio! "You are just great," they shouted and offered me the role. I held that position for over 2-years when they decided to move my slot from Tuesday evening to Sunday AM! I traveled a lot on the weekends, and it wasn't a good match.
Today, I always appear on podcasts and the radio, and I love it. In addition to my radio stunt and recent radio interviews, I've recorded spoken word and character voices, my voice has filled in for children who fall asleep just when their parts come up, and I also write if you ever need a writer!
Bachelor's Degree in Human Development
Master's Degree in Social Work
The most formal training that I have received has come directly from my work as a Radio Host, all of the many music projects that I have either produced, written, or recorded myself, and countless music and recording industry books, audio CDs, Online training(s), and the TAXI Road Rally, LA.
In the way of performing arts, I've been able to stand before thousands of people at the many ministries that have offered me a venue to address their congregations. Among the largest are the following: Bishop & Lady Owens (Washington, DC); Bishop Kenneth & Lady Moales (Bridgeport, CT); Pastor John & Felice Kee (Charlotte, NC).
I have written, produced, and performed on the following projects: (1) Memoirs In Pink: A Breast Cancer Journey Through Song; (2) Luvin` My Numbers (educational CD); (3) Luvin` Language Arts (educational CD); (4) A Christmas Letter from Crunch Bunch & Family; (5) Another Love (Bishop Frankie Carmichael); (6) Wrap it or Die (Mecklenburg County Health Department Project; (7) Fire Starters Family Safety Project (New Haven Fire Department), and more!
I have been a registered ASCAP member since 2003 and have had my studio, or access to one, since turning audio and must projects around rather quickly!
Because I am a trained Clinical Therapist, I am willing and able to contribute valuable content concerning serious mental health issues and community psychology. I bring a level of sensitivity to vulnerable populations and guarantee that will come across in my voice and through my delivery.
I am also willing to collaborate with others; I am a writer from my mother's womb and would love the opportunity to share what I have done thus far.
Please do not forget that I have a music catalog that includes over 100 songs that include pop, gospel, hip-hop, R&B, Children's Music, Motivational & Inspirational, and many Theme related songs, i.e., soundtrack worthy.
I finally believe in my gift, which has caused people to seek me out to write and produce their theme songs, hooks, and more! I can do the same for you today!
