Being in the music business for thirty years has made me comfortable behind a microphone. It feels like a nice segway to be involved in the voice over industry.
Even before I got into this business I was doing a voice mail prompts and "voice" for corporations around New England for a small company installing new phone systems.
I have written, produced and vo'd several radio commericals for the MACC, aka The MASS Academy of Canine Cosmetology located in Newburyport, MA. I developed the voice and character "Rosebud" the bulldog, the M.A.C.C's spokes dog. I've also written and recorded several 30 second spots for the MACC at WHEB in NH.
I have also written, directed, produced, vo'd my first made for Cable Network commercial which was aired in 2009 on NECN.
I have trained exclusively with working voice over teacher and actor Wren Ross. I've been working with her for over two years as well as taking acting classes in a group setting.
I have access to several hi-tech recording studios.
I have a ton of world experience! I love the expression of the human voice. When you bring the two together the stories one can tell are endless...even if its to tell how great your brand of toothpaste is.
Still love cartoons after all these years and am constantly coming up with new characters voices all the time.
I've got a strong imagination and am really good at improvisational stream of conciousness writting. I like the creative end of it, but I also love taking direction as to what a writer wants a voice to convey.
...did I mention that I sing too?
