PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY: graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in “Conflict Resolution” (in the Philosophy Dept.); completed master thesis on microcredit enterprise and women’s empowerment using inter-cultural interview techniques; passed the language exam portion in Portuguese. December, 2005.
UCLA EXTENSION: took courses in Philosophy of Law, Linguistics, German Language, Man and Myth, Dada and Surrealism, and joined the UCLA Alumni Club. 1989 -1992.
WORLD COLLEGE WEST: 4-year, fully accredited, small, private, liberal arts school outside San Francisco, California. Graduated with major of "International Service and Development" with a minor in "Brazilian Studies." On scholarship for all four years with a 4.0 G.P.A. Created student film for the local Marin cable station entitled "Socio-Economic Diversity in Marin" documentary as Writer, Director, Producer. Contained interviews with 12 prominent members of Marin County, California. Graduated with B.A. in June, 1988.
